Outsourcing bioanalysis is an established mainstream practice by virtually all major pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. During the past few years, we have witnessed an insurgence in outsourcing to overseas CROs. CROs in developing countries offer a vast array of potential cost saving opportunities but because of geographical, developmental and culture differences, this decision need to be carefully considered and weighted.
